Dr.
Patricia Romney
Dr. Patricia Romney received her Ph.D. in
clinical psychology from the City University of New York where she
won the Bernard R. Ackerman Award for Outstanding Scholarship in
Graduate Psychology. She was a pre-doctoral fellow in Family Therapy and
Consultation and Education at the Yale University of Medicine.
In 2011 Dr. Romney
retired from teaching with 5 years of teaching experience in public education and 20 years
of college teaching experience. She was a tenured Associated Professor of
Psychology at Hampshire College for 10 years and a Visiting Associate Professor of
Psychology and Education at Mount Holyoke College for 10 years.
Currently, Dr. Romney teaches part-time at Mount Holyoke College where she is a Visiting Associate Professor of Psychology and she served five years as a psychotherapist in the Mount Holyoke College Health Service. She devotes much of her time to clinical work and her consulting practice.

Romney is a member of the Boston Institute for Culturally Accountable
Practice (BICAP).
